CHRISTMAS PICTURES THE BABY JESUS NATIVITY, FREE CHRISTIAN POEMS, BETHLEHEM NATIVITY MANAGER POEMS
JESUS THE LAMB
Born a gift, a lamb for
Resting swaddled upon the manager hay
There, in stillness, silence lay
The King born
to be cast away.
Wise men searched in celestial wonder
Worshipped beneath the distant thunder
In hallowed presence amongst cherub wings
The wise men worship the wisest King.
himself for me
Took the sting of death for me
God’s eternal gift to me
Ignites the grateful
soul in me.
Perished upon the cross for me,
Punished upon the cross for me
Infant child, innocent
Swells a grateful soul in me.
All harm this moment kept at bay
Heaven hushed upon
Salvation sleeps beneath celestial sea
And rides upon the wings of eternity.

THE GODLY POEM
Oh Lord, when is a poem inspirational?
Do I have the right to call a sonnet
Inspired or do only You mark such a poem?
Oh Holy Spirit
come touch my poems.
When I write of Jesus my Saviour so great,
Can hope that my verses of prose,
Yes, my poem, will have the power of God!
Only when the Holy Spirit moves the words.
only all my poems could stir the life
Of hurting souls searching for the saving Jesus!
But I am a man and
powerless but God used
As a conduit for the Holy Spirit touches.
If only I could sit all day and
Of the glory of God, our wonderful Trinity,
But to do so requires a greater blessing
Oh God bless and sent more poets into the world.
Please do this so the saving message
Will be sent out in its outward reach of hope,
And we our servant poets will have a part to
In this wonderful message of eternal salvation.
Praise God that He loves us so much
That He sent His only Son to die for us,
Thank you Jesus for coming and sending down
The Holy spirit to
guide back home to God.
